An enduro expedition across Mauritania and Mali to Bamako

The first Salt & Gold expedition began in the chaotic aftermath of the Dakar rally cancellation. The organiser's decision came just days before the team were due to fly to the start point in Nouakchott. With rumours and misinformation about the situation on the ground spreading like wildfire, the team were faced with a stark choice - abandon or continue.
